Welcome to the High Plains Live Model Horse Show for 2012. 

High Plains Live will be held at the Johnstown, CO Community Center on April 21st.  The Johnstown Community Center is located at 101 Charlotte Street, Johnstown, CO 80534 at the Northwest corner of Parish Ave and Charlotte St. 

Community Center Hours are from 9 to 5 for the show.  Doors open at 8am for unloading. Please note we must exit the bldg which includes clean up by 6pm.

Directions from south: Take I-25 North to the Johnstown/Milliken exit 252 (just north of Longmont/Berthoud).  Turn right (east) 4 miles to the Town of Johnstown.  Once in town turn left (north) on CR17/Parish Blvd.  Turn left (west) on Charlotte.  The Community Center will be on your left on the corner of Charlotte and Parish.  If you leave town you past it.  (The entire town is 3 blocks)

From the Denver Airport:  Take E-470 to I-25 north.  See directions from South listed above.  We are approx. a 45 minute drive from the airport.

Parking is in front of the bldg and also ample parking in the back as well.  You may unload through the front but the back is recommended.  In town, most within walking distance, is a McDonalds, Subway, Lunchbox (awesome sandwiches), 2 Pizza places, a bar and grill and Santiagos Mexican Food.  Taco Bell is located at the 7-11 off Hwy 60 heading back towards the interstate.  (you past it when you drove in)

High Plains Live is a benefit show for the Front Range Equine Rescue.  We will have 6 divisions.  Artist Resin, Artist Resin Mini, Custom, Performance, China and Custom Glazed. (there are no Of classes however, you may show your OF's in performance.)

Prizes, raffle and auction items will be listed as they come in. 

Currently award for overall grand champions in each division will be a Charity or Brio Sombra unpainted resin. 

Chevy Plaque (silver castings will be given as reserve overall awards for each division!  Unpainted medallions and examples of cold cast bronze copies will be available at the show and online ordering.  U/P copies are $30.00 plus shipping. (size 4 1/2 x 5")

Paper flats will be provided for places 1-6th in each class.  Division and overall champs will be giving certificates

Overall Champs will also receive this lovely neck ribbons and rose blankets by Christy Allen!
